Light middleweight contender Michael “pretty boy” Zerafa 26 -3 ( 15 KO’s ) was not impressed with Tim Tszyu’s latest appearance in the ring on Wednesday night and fails to see what all the hype is about.
Zerafa was ringside at the Star Casino in Sydney where Tim Tszyu now 13-0 ( 10 KO’s ) defeated the incumbent Australian light middleweight Champion Joel Camilleri now 17- 6 ( 8 KO’s ) in a competitive fight over ten rounds.
“Tszyu looked pretty ordinary Wednesday night, as a matter of fact he always looks ordinary. I honestly don’t see what the hype is about.” Stated Zerafa.
Zerafa agreed to a fight Tszyu late last year only to have Tszyu pull out with an injury.
“I’ve already agreed to fight Tszyu but predictably he pulled out of the fight after realising he’s in over his head.” Zerafa continued, “He’s still got a lot to learn, it would have been easy work for me, he’s not experienced enough for my level, I would stop him first few rounds.”
Zerafa’s countryman Jeff Horn has been in the media over the last few weeks calling out various fighters from around the World. Zerafa has put his hand up several times for this fight saying it’s the only fight he wants.
“That’s the fight I really want! Horn is the perfect fight for me. It would be massive in Australia. It’s really the only fight I want right now!” Zerafa concluded.
