Who is, isn’t and might be backstage at Raw (Potential SPOILERS)

Tonight’s episode of Raw is set to be a big one, for lots of reasons.

We’re two weeks from Fastlane, the last pay-per-view (PPV) before WrestleMania 35. Raw currently has no matches booked for the former and only two for the latter, amidst rumors the ‘Mania card has never been this undecided this close to the event.

Roman Reigns is on the show with an update on how his leukemia treatment is going, and Ric Flair will be on hand to celebrate his 70th birthday.

That last thing has folks expecting a big angle related to Charlotte Flair’s match for April 7 in New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, where she’ll challenge Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s championship. Becky Lynch earned the right to face Rousey by winning the Royal Rumble, but Vince McMahon suspended her for 60 days on Feb. 11. We’ve all been waiting for the other narrative shoe to drop ever since.

Most of the wresting world thinks that will happen tonight. WrestleVotes says the angle associated with Flair’s birthday “has been in the works for weeks now, so it should come off well”. PWInsider reports Becky and Charlotte are both already backstage at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, so start placing your bets on whether Naitch gets slapped, armbarred or both as his present from WWE.

Insider’s post has a lot of other names who could show up as guests at Ric’s latest party. A trio of famous Flair rivals – Hall of Famers Sting, Shawn Michaels & Ricky Steamboat are all on hand according to the site.

Other names who could conceivably get to Raw and might be used in the Women’s title/Nature Boy segment(s), or possibly for Reigns-related appearances, or just for general hype and/or WrestleMania build are Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Dave Bautista. Both men are in the Atlanta area for film work, but haven’t been spotted at the arena… yet.

Dana Warrior and Paul Heyman are said to be backstage, as is new Creative hire Bruce Prichard.

Should be an eventful night! Follow along as it all unfolds with us in the live blog here.
