Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now a couple of days removed from its UFC 236: “Holloway vs. Poirier 2” pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place on April 13, 2019 on ESPN+ from inside State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It was a pretty crazy night of fights, as the promotion crowned two new interim champions. Top lightweight contender Dustin Poirier managed to out-slug featherweight kingpin Max Holloway (video), while undefeated striking sensation Israel Adesanya turned away rough-and-tumble middleweight bruiser Kelvin Gastelum (replay).
In case you missed any or all of last weekend’s action, UFC is bringing you some of the top highlights in the latest edition of “Fight Motion,” previously known as “Ghost Cam” or “Phantom Cam” because cool-sounding names make you believe you’re watching something amazing. That’s not always the case, but you can make a pretty good argument that “Fight Motion” was created for wars like Poirier vs. Holloway and Adesanya vs. Gastelum.
