There’s a first time for everything, included fighting Muay Thai in its motherland. Join The Muay Thai Guys for a deep dive on Thailand. . .

Fighting for the first time in Thailand is every nak muay’s dream, or at least it ought to be. Paul and I have both fought in Thailand multiple times, and every single time is an incredible experience. It’s nerve-wracking, it’s scary, it sucks, but it’s also utterly amazing. If you’ve ever watched a fight in Thailand, you know that the fight atmosphere is second to none.

This doesn’t mean it’s all sunshine and rainbows in Thailand. Sometimes you’ll think you’re fighting today, then it gets changed to two days from now. Then it gets changed again to three weeks from now. Then another change and now you’re fighting a completely different opponent!

Fighting in Thailand can be chaotic, but good or bad, it’s an experience foundational to the “total Muay Thai experience.” If you want to not just learn Muay Thai, but live and breathe it… you need to get to Thailand!

In this episode, we cover:

  • How narrowing down my focus has helped my productivity;
  • My next fight;
  • Living the Thai lifestyle;
  • What to expect when fighting in Thailand;
  • What to expect when training in Thailand;
  • And much, much more…
