This Guy Went To Check Out A One-Star “Bullshido” Academy And It’s… Something

There are a lot of people walking around out there claiming to be martial arts experts even when they definitely aren’t. While some of them manage to convince people to continue learning under their misguided tutelage, others aren’t quite as successful at convincing their clientele that they’re the real deal.

As part of his “One-Star Reviews” series, VICE’s Taji Ameen visited a martial arts gym with a one-star rating on Yelp to see if the teachings were, as one reviewer described, “bullshido.” Master Gerry’s abilities as a self-defense instructor are certainly… erm… questionable, but the guy has potential as a motivational speaker, don’t you think?
