You don’t need to have a partner for effective BJJ drilling, especially when it comes to strength and conditioning exercises. In fact, there are plenty of exercises you can do on your own that can help you build strength and muscle memory specifically for jiu-jitsu.

In this video, Sam Byrne demonstrates a few helpful movements you can practice to help strengthen your core in ways that can directly help with your jiu-jitsu. Take a look and spend a few minutes a day doing these to improve your BJJ!
