This is The A-Side Live Chat on MMA Fighting.

Today, José Youngs will be joined by Toronto’s own Alexander K. Lee.

The two will give their reaction to an eventful Bellator 223 show, where fans saw Rafael Lovato Jr. dethrone Gegard Mousasi and claim the promotion’s middleweight crown. Should Mousasi get an immediate rematch or should Lovato Jr. move on to Lyoto Machida? Is this really the the biggest upset of 2019? How far can Lovato Jr. take this run?

They’ll also look back at the entertaining BKFC 6, which featured former UFC fighter Artem Lobov earn a decision over former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi in the night’s main event. Did Lobov really deserve the victory or did the judges get it wrong? What about the two shaking hands at the end of the fight? Is this really the end of their feud? Oh, and does this make Lobov the new face of bare-knuckle boxing?

We’ll also react to UFC Greenville card, which culminated in “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung blitzing through Renato Moicano. Who should Jung face next? Jeremy Stephens? Jose Aldo? Someone else in the UFC featherweight Top 10? What about Moicano? With two straights stoppage losses, where does the exciting Brazilian go from here?

There is plenty to discuss, so join us to rap on all of the above and much more. As we always say, this is your show, so we will talk about whatever it is you want us to talk about. The chat will start at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

As usual, we’ll post the video window as the event draws near and answer any questions you might have if you post them in the comments below. For the comments you deem the most deserving, please click the “rec” button. Comments in green will get first priority.
