Ted Cheeseman has had his next opponent confirmed.
The British super-welterweight champion has been out of action since suffering his first defeat as a professional.
Cheeseman was outpointed over 12 rounds by Spain’s Sergio Garcia back in February when he challenged for the European title at the O2 Arena, exclusively live on Sky Sports.
But the 23-year-old Bermondsey man (15-1, 9 KOs) will return to the ring on June 21 against Kieron Conway.
‘The Big Cheese’ will box on a JDNXTGEN card at Bethnal Green’s famous York Hall venue, exclusively live on Sky Sports in the UK and DAZN Stateside.
Conway, a 23-year-old from Northampton, has a record of 12-1 with three quick. He was last in action earlier this month in his home city when he outpointed Harry Matthews, just over a fortnight after he featured in the Ultimate Boxxer tournament at the Indigo at the O2 in Greenwich, London, exclusively live on BT Sport.
Conor Benn tops the bill in a defence of his WBA Continental welterweight title against Jussi Koivula and Craig Richards meets Andre Sterling in a final eliminator for Joshua Buatsi’s British light-heavyweight title.
Former standout amateur Charles Frankham fights for the second time in the paid code after a successful debut in Nottingham earlier this month, there is action for America’s Otha Jones III and Reece Bellotti will return alongside Watford bantamweight Shannon Courtenay.
