Strowman’s surgery was a success, but we still don’t have a return date

Share the joy

WWE is reporting that Braun Strowman’s surgery in Birmingham, Alabama yesterday (Nov. 27) was a success.

That’s great! It’s also all we know about the Monster Among Men’s status. The story about his operation on the company website is still kayfabe, calling his injury a “shattered elbow” and pointing to the Baron Corbin-led attack on the Nov. 19 episode of Raw as the cause.

In reality, reports say the same elbow issues which sent Braun under the knife back in 2017 were aggravated at Survivor Series the night before he was assaulted by Corbin, Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley.

Neither backstage or storyline updates have an answer regarding when he’ll be back, although a recent rumor suggests he will not be ready for his scheduled match at TLC on Dec. 16.

For his part, Strowman is keeping in character and playing it coy with his update…

We’ll keep watching that clock, and the news, for updates.
