Renee Young Discusses the Possibilities of having a Women’s Tag Team Division in WWE
The women’s division of WWE has undergone a great transformation in recent years. The Divas became superstars and their matches began to focus more from being combats of two to five minutes to be the main events of PPV. Now that Evolution will be presented next month as the first exclusively feminine PPV, it seems that the next phase will be exciting.
Renee Young recently spoke with The Ross Report about the current evolution of the women’s division of the WWE. A big change will be a Women’s Tag Team Division, and Renee said she believes that is one of the possible possibilities.
“I think it will happen. I do not think we’re too far from that, to be honest. More are coming, there are more women. You know I know that a lot of people would love to see a tag team division for women and we’re starting to have enough women to do that. Having that roster and that depth in their division so they can really start having their own PPV is amazing. “
Only time will tell what the next step is for the women’s tag team division but it seems that Renee Young has certainly heard public protest for a female tag team division sometime soon in WWE. With Evolution just around the corner, we could always see it as the next step of the WWE women’s division as they continue in the women’s WWE revolution.
