NXT UK spoilers (Feb. 22): Brand crossover, Dunne/WALTER advanced

Share the joy

With GreatDane#1 stepping to the plate and delivering a kickass recap & review of NXT UK every week, we’re gonna make sure there are spoilers available before the shows air on WWE Network each Wednesday. Don’t talk about these in the weekly reactions, of course. But for folks who can’t make time for another hour in their viewing schedule or who just like to consume the product with advance notice, we’re here for you.

The below are from Fri., Feb. 22’s taping at the at the Coventry Skydome in Coventry, England. NXT UK will be back there again on Saturday to tape another batch of shows.

Isla Dawn def. Killer Kelly (dark match)

El Ligero def. Joseph Conners. Ligero offered his hand after the match, but Conners refused to shake it.

The Hunt (Wild Boar Mike Hitchman & Primate) def. Sam Stoker & Lewis Howley in a squash

Nina Samuels def. Charlie Morgan

– Jeff Jarrett appeared, it seems just for a shot from the crowd.

Jordan Devlin def. Travis Banks in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Pin came after Devlin hit a Spanish Fly to put Banks through a table set-up on the floor.

Wolfgang def. Flash Morgan Webster

Kenny Williams & Amir Jordan def. Saxon Huxley & Tyson T-Bone

– As covered in the Rumor Roundup, Noam Dar showed up to announce he’s a full-time NXT UK roster member now. He badmouthed Mark Andrews, so Mandrews cut him off and brawled.

Kay Lee Ray debuted, def. Candy Floss

Eddie Dennis def. El Ligero

– Moustache Mountain hit the ring for a promo. Not clear if this is for air; Trent Seven & Tyler Bate put over the fact they’re wrestling on the second day of tapings.

Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel def. Sam Stoker & Lewis Howley

Kassius Ohno def. Ashton Smith; Doesn’t seem Ohno mentioned his promo from mainline NXT about leaving, so not sure if he’s moving over here too. This did sound like the start of a program for him, as he continued to assault Smith after the match. Travis Banks ran in to check on Ashton after the beatdown.

Pete Dunne & WALTER def. The Coffey Brothers (WALTER pinned Mark Coffey); the night ended with a staredown between the winners and the big Austrian standing with his boot on the Bruiserweight’s UK title.
