New report suggests Raw’s air time will become shorter

This is one of those changes nobody can complain about it. We think.

According to a new report from Fightful one of the last remnants of the Monday Night Wars may be going away. The famed 15 minutes of overrun time that accompanied the main event of segment of Monday Night Raw will be no more.

If this is true Raw would end at exactly three hours and USA would float right into it’s next showing of Suits, The Purge, Chrisley Knows Best or Monk rerun. Or right into that Suits-The Purge-Chrisley Knows Best-Monk crossover special event we’ve all been waiting for.

“Fightful.com has learned that WWE Monday Night Raw has a hard “out” time of 11 PM EST, as opposed to the soft end time that they’ve enjoyed since the 1990s. We’re told this will begin with next Monday’s edition of Raw, and will continue for the foreseeable future. This is already the case for WWE Smackdown Live on Tuesday Nights.”

The report goes on to state that the end of the WWE’s overrun on Monday nights is likely a call made by the USA Network. Why USA would make the change in the middle of November without much fanfare is unclear at the moment.

Alright Cagesiders, will any of you miss the extra 10, 15 or sometimes 20 minutes of overrun Monday Night Raw would give us every week?
