Jiu-jitsu isn’t a team sport by nature, but with the right rule changes, it can be made into one. Similar to Quintet, Fight 2 Win’s Subversiv events are doing just that, and their second installment will take place this weekend.

The event will see Team Red Bowie go up against Team 10th Planet in a no-gi competition structured with EBI rules. We’ll be seeing a lot of familiar faces on the stage, including both Richie and Geo Martinez, Joao Miyao, Luiza Monteiro, and Ronaldo Junior.

The action won’t just be centered on the team event — we’ll also get to see 35 superfights comprised of numerous talented competitors in both BJJ and judo. Teenage purple belt phenom Jessa Khan and rising black belt star Thomas Keenan are just two of the athletes we can expect to see on the stage leading up to the team-based competition.

Watch the promo for the event below, and make sure you’re streaming the event live on FloGrappling when it starts this Saturday, July 13, in California!
