A heavyweight slugfest is heading to the Lone Start State.

On Wednesday afternoon, MMA Fighting confirmed an initial report from ESPN of Greg Hardy returning to the Octagon against Juan Adams in a matchup targeted for UFC on ESPN 4 in San Antonio. The bout is not yet finalized at the time of this writing.

Hardy (4-1), a former NFL Pro Bowler, is coming off a one-sided TKO win over Dmitry Smolyakov at UFC Fort Lauderdale earlier this month. Prior to that, “The Prince of War” made his disastrous debut against Allen Crowder at UFC Brooklyn in January. During the scrap, fans saw Hardy land an illegal knee to a downed Crowder, giving Hardy the disqualification loss.

To date, all four of Hardy’s professional wins have ended in a first-round (T)KO, with only one lasting longer than one minute.

Adams (5-1), who rose to prominence during his time on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, is looking to get back into the win column after coming up short against Arjan Bhullar at UFC Ottawa earlier this month. The setback not only handed Adams his first professional loss, but marked the first time he reached the judges’ scorecard. Prior to that, Adams rattled off five straight (T)KOs, with only one coming outside of the first frame.

UFC on ESPN 4 is set to go down on July 30 inside the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Tex. With this latest addition, here is how the entire card stands:
