Concluding their three-match trip to the state of North Carolina and competing in two of the most-recognizable venues in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Bears (2-1) won six of 10 bouts to upend the Blue Devils (2-1) and took three bouts in the setback to the nationally ranked Wolfpack (10-2).
“We had a great win over Duke and competed really hard against a very good NC State program,” Brown head coach Todd Beckerman said. “Today was a great opportunity to compete against opponents – and in arenas – that will help prepare us for EIWAs and NCAAs. Overall, we had a really productive trip to North Carolina and are looking forward to hosting our first home duals next weekend.”
