How To Drill Flying Armbars Without Ending Up In The Hospital

If you’ve never done them before (and especially if your training partner has never been on the receiving end of them before), drilling flying armbars can be challenging at best and dangerous at worst.

Before you get into the “flying” part of flying armbars, you may feel a bit safer practicing some of the finer details closer to the ground. In this video, ZombieProof BJJ‘s Kent Peters demonstrates how to refine your flying armbar technique before attempting any aerial acrobatics. Check this out and then work on nailing it from a standing position.
