There are a few jiu-jitsu athletes out there who really know their stuff when it comes to omoplatas, and if they tell you that a setup or detail works, you should absolutely believe them.

Jiu-Jitsu Times partner instructor Jonathan Thomas is one of these instructors, and in this exclusive video, he demonstrates a relatively simple, but not necessarily common way to hit an omoplata entry. It’s surprisingly quick, so practice it a lot and see if you can land it as a last-minute submission on your opponents!
