Grappling star Garry Tonon finally faced off with Sung Jong Lee at ONE: Heart of the Lion earlier tonight at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The first round started with both fighters exchanging a few strikes before Tonon scored a takedown. Both fighters soon returned to their feet, which Tonon took advantage of to land a few knee strikes. The competitors remained on their feet until the end of the round, with Tonon landing a few more significant knee strikes and Lee also connecting with multiple strikes against Tonon.

The beginning of the second round saw Tonon landing multiple kicks and Lee responding with strikes. With about 3:20 left in the round, Tonon hit a takedown and immediately moved in for a guillotine. Although Lee initially managed to defend, Tonon made a few adjustments and was able to get the tap after 2:20 in the second round.

The win brings Tonon to a 3-0 record in MMA.
