“The Answer” is out.

Frankie Edgar is injured and being forced to withdraw from the scheduled UFC Denver main event against Chan Sung Jung, his manager Ali Abdelaziz confirmed Friday night with MMA Fighting. Jung will now fight Yair Rodriguez in the headliner, UFC president Dana White told ESPN.com.

The card, on Nov. 10, is scheduled to be the UFC’s 25th anniversary celebration in the city where it all started. In November 1993, the promotion held its very first event, in Denver.

Edgar, the former UFC lightweight champion and one of the most decorated fighters in MMA history, will be back in a few months and would like to fight on the UFC’s yet-to-be-announced card in Brooklyn in January, per Abdelaziz.

Rodriguez (10-2) has not fought since losing to Edgar in May 2017. The exciting Mexican prospect was initially supposed to fight Zabit Magomedsharipov at UFC 228 in September, but pulled out due to injury. Rodriguez, 26, won his first five fights before falling to Edgar and looked very impressive in doing so.

Jung (14-4) returned from his Korean military obligations to knock out Dennis Bermudez in February 2017. “The Korean Zombie” had a lay off of nearly four years before that bout and then needed knee surgery after beating Bermudez that has kept him out for more than a year. Jung, 31, was one of the best featherweights in the world before his recent absences, losing in a title fight to Jose Aldo in 2013.

UFC Denver has a scheduled co-main event that pits JacksonWink MMA fighters Donald Cerrone and Mike Perry against one another in a welterweight clash. Also on the card, Joseph Benavidez meets Ray Borg and Raquel Pennington takes on Germaine de Randamie.
