On the November 28th episode of NXT, a new vignette aired for Dominik Dijakovic, the former Ring Of Honor star looking to make an impact in WWE. Find out why Dijakovic might just become the next big thing in NXT!
Last year in September, it was announced that WWE had signed Donovan Dijak, the exceptionally talented big man from Ring Of Honor. Since then, Dijak has gone on to make a few appearances in recent months in NXT under the name Chris Dijak before disappearing from WWE TV all together.
That is, until the November 28th edition of NXT when a vignette aired for Dijak, who now appears will finally be given the real push he deserves under the name Dominik Dijakovic.
Having said that, why is it then that Dijakovic deserves a push when there’s so many other promising stars on the NXT roster?
It’s simple, just watch what he can do in the ring.
Dijakovic is set to become one of the most physically impressive stars NXT has ever seen. He’s a dangerous combination of size, strength, and agility that you don’t often see when it comes to big men standing a solid 6 feet 7 inches tall in WWE.
Just take a look at this clip from the match Dijakovic had with Ricochet in May to see what I’m talking about:
How many men in WWE could go from delivering a soul-crushing chokeslam onto the apron before attempting a textbook moonsault off the top rope? Not to mention, this clip doesn’t show the amazing springboard arsenal of Dijak or the other devastating power moves he’s yet to have the opportunity to display in NXT.
Dijakovic was a veritable force of nature on the independent scene with that devastating move set. He’s already had in-ring wars with the likes of Keith Lee and Oney Lorcan in promotions like Beyond Wrestling. Now it’s time to finally see the true extent of what Dijakovic can do inside a WWE ring.
Get ready NXT fans, you’re about to be able to feast your eyes on one of the most impressive wrestlers in WWE today.
