David Allen has been given an opponent ahead of his return on Saturday.
The entertaining heavyweight, who stopped Samir Nebo in Newcastle last month after finishing off Nick Webb in a British title eliminator inside four rounds back in July, will be back in the ring this weekend.
Allen, 26, was added to the supporting cast of Tony Bellew’s challenge of Oleksandr Usyk for the WBC, IBF, WBO and WBA Super and Ring Magazine cruiserweight world titles at Manchester Arena recently, after Joe Cordina was forced out of his Commonwealth lightweight title defence against Scott Cardle with a hand injury.
And it has been revealed that ‘The White Rhino’ will take on a fighter who has a winning record of eight wins and just one defeat.
Ariel Esteban Bracamonte is the man who will take on Allen as the Conisbrough fighter sees action ahead of his Sheffield outing at the FlyDSA Arena on December 8.
Bracamonte, 25, is from Argentina and he has five quick endings on his ledger.
He was last in action last month when he stopped Nahuel Collosi inside the distance to secure his third straight knockout victory.
Allen’s clash with Bracamonte has been confirmed at the 11th-hour with appearances already scheduled for WBA International welterweight champion Josh Kelly against Walter Fabian Castillo and undefeated Ukrainian middleweight Dmytro Mytrofanov.
