Conor McGregor only fought once in the past year but the UFC superstar is still one of the highest-earning celebrities in the world.
On Wednesday, Forbes released their list of the top 100 highest-paid celebrities for 2019 with McGregor landing at No. 65 overall.
Forbes estimated that McGregor raked in $47 million as of July 2019 thanks in large part to his most recent fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov that reportedly earned him north of $30 million in revenue from the biggest pay-per-view in UFC history.
The card sold more than 2 million pay-per-view buys and while McGregor’s disclosed payday was only $3 million, he reaped the benefit of being paid on the back end as a partner with the pay-per-view.
In addition to that salary, McGregor also brought in an additional $5 million from a Reebok endorsement deal as well as profits from the sale of his Proper No. 12 whiskey, which launched last year.
McGregor was previously named to the Forbes’ list for the highest paid athletes but this list is far more expansive with celebrities from movies, television, music and other industries also included.
The top earner in 2019 according to Forbes was singer Taylor Swift, who reportedly earned a whopping $185 million over the past year. The highest ranking athlete was soccer star Lionel Messi at No. 4 after earning $127 million in the past year.
McGregor was sandwiched in between several notable celebrities at No. 65 with pop superstar Ariana Grande just ahead of him at No. 62 while Captain America himself Chris Evans came in at No. 73 behind the former two-division UFC champion.
