This just felt right.
One night after Vince McMahon shook up WWE’s main event scene, the beneficiary of it all opened SmackDown Live. Despite being shoehorned right in the middle of what was a hot one on one feud between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair owned all of it.
Watching Flair embrace of the hate of SmackDown’s live crowd was a testament of how good a heel The Queen has become. It’s hard to root for Flair as the baby face in peril, but as a cocky heel Flair checks all the boxes.
In her first promo since McMahon publicly endorsed her, Flair’s heel turn became very real, very quickly.
Born to be booed.
Who else really missed the heel version of Charlotte Flair?
