The Undertaker made some ‘eras’ versus ‘errors’ wordplay attempts and then was distracted by Triple H’s glow-sticks.
So that is how the build to Crown Jewel is looking after tonight’s go-home episode of Raw.
Look maybe, The Brothers of Destruction and DX will go out on Friday in Saudi Arabia, turn back the clock and have themselves a five star match for the ages. Even if that happens the build-up for their Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker and Kane’s tag match at WWE Crown Jewel has been full of misfires and stumbles.
Tonight (Oct. 29) The Undertaker and Kane kind of, sort of mailed it in on the mic and then DX came out for a quick sneak attack.
Is their a correct way to build-up a feud between four legends past their prime in 2018? Maybe their is a magic cure-all that could have made a Brothers of Destruction vs. DX story-line feel more important roughly a decade after its expiration date.
Between the build and results at Super Show-Down up until the first bell at Crown Jewel, the WWE has still not found a way to telling a compelling story for The Undertaker, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Kane.
