A week after he suffered an on-screen “shattered elbow” (his second in the last year-and-a-half!), sources tell PWInsider Braun Strowman will go under the knife on Mon., Nov. 26 to correct the real issue behind his storyline injury.
It’s believed it won’t take him long to recover from the procedure; WWE allegedly has a plan to work around Strowman not being 100% for his scheduled match against Baron Corbin at the Dec. 16 TLC pay-per-view (PPV). Doctors won’t know the extent of the damage or have a definitive timeline for his rehab until they perform the surgery, however.
In addition to covering for this operation, Monday’s beatdown also served to provide Corbin with a weak spot to target on the Monster Among Men in their stipulation-filled tables, ladders & chairs match in San Jose next month. It will also give babyface Braun an obstacle to overcome.
We’ll provide an update on how thing went for Strowman on the operating table in Birmingham, Alabama next week.
