Set to be the hero of WWE WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch has been the biggest star in the company over the past several months and is now introducing your favorite mainstream, dandruff-fighting shampoo.
Becky Lynch is poised to be WWE‘s next mainstream star, and the company has done plenty to put The Man in that position this WrestleMania season. She’s had several shirts released on the WWE Shop on her road to WrestleMANia, and she’s embarrassed all the McMahons, specifically Stephanie, even if some fans have been confused by the path to a Triple Threat.
It’s clear that Becky has shattered glass ceilings and stirred up the fanbase along the way, because whether fans love Becky or roll their eyes at her Twitter, she’s become WWE’s main event since beating the hell out of Charlotte Flair in August.
And now, she’s in a “Head and Shoulders” commercial, which can be viewed here, courtesy of Twitter user @aubreygilt.
[A hat tip tp Fightful.com’s Jeremy Lambert for the story.]
Lynch’s “Head and Shoulders” commercial is short and sweet, as it plays a speech of her discussing her rise in WWE after throwing a bottle of the “Smooth and Silky” variety of the shampoo into her bag.
A Head and Shoulders endorsement puts Becky in elite company with Hall of Fame safety Troy Polamalu, former Minnesota Twins MVP Joe Mauer, and actress Sofia Vergara, among other stars in both sports and entertainment. Becky, of course, is the biggest star in Sports Entertainment right now, so it’s only fitting that she’ll be the one to convince me to buy way more of that Head and Shoulders shampoo with “Almond Oil” than I could ever possibly need.
Hopefully Becky continues to do commercial spots for WWE with major brands, and it’s worth noting that this advertisement specifically included the Raw logo.
Becky, who is technically still part of the SmackDown brand and helped make the SmackDown Women’s Championship the main event, is fully expected to win the Raw Women’s Title off of Ronda Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania 35 and has already become a must-see part of Raw whenever she’s on Monday nights.
