Anthony Joshua will use social media to judge who he should fight next.

The 28-year-old world heavyweight champion remained undefeated on Saturday night with a win over Alexander Povetkin at Wembley Stadium.

Joshua stopped his WBA mandatory challenger inside seven rounds, exclusively live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK and DAZN Stateside, while also keeping hold of his WBO, IBF and IBO crowns and moving to 22-0 with all but one early.

And the Olympic champion, who is also a former ABA champion and has now boxed in four consecutive stadium fights, revealed that he will use a poll on Twitter for fans to decide who he should take on next.

“Povetkin is a very tough challenger and he proved it on Saturday night,” said Joshua. “I realised he was strong to the head but weak to the body, so I worked the body and eventually got him out of there.

“That’s out the way, so let’s see what’s happening on April 13. Let’s ask the question, I have no mandatories.”

Joshua will be back at the home of England football in the spring having recently signed a two-fight deal at the 90,000-seat venue.

And though his promoter Eddie Hearn has said that he intends to head back to the negotiating table with the team of WBC champion Deontay Wilder ahead of a potential fight, ‘AJ’ wants the paying public to decide.

“The sport is about what the fans want, let’s put a poll out on Twitter and see who fans want me to take on.

“I got my knockout streak back, I found my right hand again. It went missing for a while, but I found it and got the knockout against a tough guy in Povetkin.

“There’s a lot of pressure, the country is rooting for us all and boxing. The energy in here spurs you on and I do feel that pressure.”
