An important flyweight bout featuring ranked fighters has been added to the UFC’s first trip to Argentina.
Alexandre Pantoja vs. Ulka Sasaki is the latest addition to the Nov. 17 card that’s set to go down in Buenos Aries at Luna Park. The news was first reported by Combate and was later announced by the promotion on Wednesday.
Pantoja, ranked 10 in the division, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Brandon Moreno last May at UFC Chile. Prior to that, the Brazilian fighter had been outpointed by Dustin Ortiz back in January. Pantoja is 3-1 in his last four bouts and 19-3 in his overall pro MMA career.
Meanwhile, Sasaki, who sits No. 15 on the flyweight rankings, last fought in June where he submitted Jenel Lausa. The Japanese fighter is 21-5-2 as a professional fighter and he’s 2-2 in his four outings.
