Teacher FAQs
Am I eligible for an EEK! presentation?
Any classroom and all schools, public and private, within the  City of Livermore are invited to recieve EEK! presentations.

How do I sign up?
Can I choose a presentation from a different grade level?
Priority is given to the online sign-ups, but I will do my best to see that every teacher that wants a presentation gets one.

After the September deadline, please visit the "Contact Us" page to e-mail me with your request.
Who is my classroom presenter?
"I missed the sign-up deadline; can I still schedule a presentation?"
I encourage different lessons for different grades to ensure that students are exposed to a variety of activities and concepts over the years, as well as offering activities that are age and skill-level appropriate.

But if there is a lesson that supports your classroom's curriculum, or one that particularly interests you and your students, I am happy to present it.

How much does it cost?
The program is funded through grants and donations from institutions, schools, individuals, organizations, and businesses.  If you, your school, business or organization would like to make a donation please contact David at: daviddarlington@att.net or 925-606-7042.
Your school is eligible for EEK! presentations regardless of financial participation - but it sure would help.
How will I know when EEK! is coming?
Presentation schedules will be e-mailed to all participating teachers by the 3rd week of September.  Please mark your teaching calendar
with your class's date and time.

Also, a reminder e-mail will be sent to individual
teachers the month prior to the EEK! visit.
For a one-month period at the start of each school year, EEK! offers online registration.  Look for the EEK! sign-up poster at your school in the teacher work area or staff lounge..
